Eli Terry Sons Mahogany Pillar Scroll Mantel Clock

Description:

This ca. 1820s clock has a quick glue repair upper left top side rail, can be redone easily if desired. There are some minor repairs on the case, just enlarge photos. Needs cleaning as the clock keeps ticking and chiming along for 2 to 4 hours then slowly stops running. An exceptional example. Old finish, possibly original. Original painted wood dial. Fine reverse painted bottom tablet. 30 hour time and strike weight driven movement. Complete with weights, pendulum and a key. Great label.
