First half 19thC. No chips, no cracks. This massive 17" tall free blown and cut/polished lidded compote is in excellent original condition, with baluster knob stem on large 5 1/2" round pad foot, supporting a blown, panel cut and polished body. The matching lid showing panel cut and polished sides, topped with an applied cut and polished handle. The largest piece in the collection, and possibly the best made piece too. Without counting the lid, the compote measures a bit over 12" tall by 8" diameter.
