Fine Rare Hand Painted Chinese Export Dinner Plate

Description:

Circa 1775-1825. Three edge chips shows the white porcelain. No cracks, lines or major design rubbing. What appears to be an elaborate brown transfer design is actually entirely hand painted. Part of a custom export set, the plate center features four dragon/lions guarding the intertwinded initials of the original purchaser. Approx. diameter: 9 7/8" by 1 1/8" high.
