Fine Antique Japanese Imari Porcelain Footed Bowl

Description:

Circa 1825-1875. No chips, cracks or repairs. The well done and finely intricate enamel decoration includes panels of men playing Go, having tea and reciting from a text. Fish, flowers, birds and insects display on the interior surface, and a horse/dragon hybrid flies within an exterior panel. Approx. diameter: 9 3/16" x 4" tall. Lovely rich colors overall, in excellent original condition make this a great bowl to own.
